Invitation and Scope
We are very pleased to announce that the 5th International Conference on Microwave Materials and Their Applications (MMA-2008) will be held on November 1-4, 2008 in Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful tourism cities in China, which has a history of thousands of years and is famous for the splendid nature view of West Lake. This international conference will continue the great initiative and momentum of MMA-2000 (Slovenia), MMA-2002 (UK), MMA-2004 (Japan) and MMA-2006 (Finland), and its aim is to allow the participants to present the most recent results and to exchange ideas on the advancements in the research, development and applications of materials characterized in the frequency range from kHz up to THz. The conference concentrates on to the following subjects:
[A] Materials related including chemistry and physics of dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, ferromagnetic or low temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) with advantageous properties for applications and their processing and structural determination.
[B] Measurement, characterization and modeling techniques of materials' performance.
[C] Applications including passive and active components, packaging technology, integrated modules, and future trends and markets.
[D] Integrations to enable a novel and advanced materials or application module to promote products with increased functionality.
